Thankfully, Watermelon Wonder is not one of the retiring In Colors (at least, not retiring this year), and I’m happy about that. I love to use it with a bit of black, and even though it may not appear so, I also colored the hydrangea here with tones of Watermelon.
There are many great images in the 2015-2016 Annual Catalog to watercolor; this host-only set has one of my favorites. It’s really easy to color — wait, you don’t believe me? You just need the right tools, a healthy dose of hints and techniques, and plenty of practice, all of which you’ll get at the upcoming Wonderful Watercolor class on Friday, April 1, at my house.
