One of my stampin’ buddies asked me about creating a “trio” card using this image from Birthday Blooms — specifically, what colors might work. I love working with these three shades of yellow (although for the next birthday on my list, I must avoid any yellow!), as the result is not overly sweet, as might happen with shades of pink.
My false step occurred after I had finished the card. How about a tiny bit more shimmer with some Gold Wink of Stella? Yikes. I should have used the Clear version, as it was too dark for the middle, So Saffron, flower. I hope the “thought counts” and the recipient enjoys her birthday card!
